I bet I know what the hot topic will be at the next Walker dinner party: Where the hell is everyone?!

On the heels of news that Rob Lowe is leaving Brothers & Sisters in May, sources confirm to me exclusively that his TV spouse, Calista Flockhart, will be working a reduced schedule next season.

An ABC spokesperson declined to comment except to say that Flockhart will remain a series regular. In other words — and this is just me speculating — she'll most likely appear in at least 13 of next season's 22 episodes.

Meanwhile, a Brothers & Sisters insider confirms that Flockhart's lighter workload was a contributing factor in Lowe's decision to flee. The West Wing alum already felt his role on the show had become diminished. The prospect of his TV spouse appearing in fewer episodes would've only increased his sense of marginalization.

It's all starting to make sense!

Reaction? Relieved Flockhart isn't making a permanent exit like Lowe? And does all this bode well for MIA sib Balthazar Getty, who has made no secret of his desire to return to the show full-time? Share your thoughts in the comments!

[MOLLY] 10-13.. girl. Wise beyond her years and guarded but definitely still a child not a teenager. Loves to read scary novels. Fragile from her parents divorce she looks up to her mom and is a bit brainwashed. Unfortunately, she is also protecting her mother from the horrible truth that Tammy is pimping out Molly to older men in order to help pay the bills.

[TAMMY] Mid 30's -40's... A tough single mom of Molly. After her husband left her, her financial desperation has led her to pimping out her daughter. She plays the innocent, nice mom with the doctors, even faking shock and sadness when they tell her that her daughter is sexually active.

[DOMINIC FATTORE] Male. could be mid 30s,40's, 50's. Jersey Italian mob boss, wiseguy and closeted gay. Any size or type ranging from slick good looking Travolta type to overweight mobster. Gets into a medical predicament that might force him and his lover Angelo to come clean to Papa Fattore but with the help of Chloe and Dr Briggs they stage another scenario.

[ANGELO] Mid 30's, Italian type. Fattore boyfriend and similar to Fattore that hes a seemingly macho Italian guy, you would never guess his secret. He quit drinking two days ago and caused him to go into alcohol withdrawal and have a seizure.

[PAPA FATTORE] late 50's-70's. The Italian tough head of the family. The guy is built like a wall,with the demeanor of a pissed-off lion. He is not happy when he discovers his son in his office. He's been called to the restaurant because the employees were worried some bad business had been going on. 1 big scene

[NATE] late 30's-40's. male. Any ethnicity. Polished Wall Street type. Molly's estranged father that left Tammy and Molly when he started his new family. While Molly is in the hospital he attempts to bring her gifts and show he has compassion for her, but she won't give any back. 2 scenes

[UNCLE GREG] 40'S. Male. Handsome. Uncle Greg is not really an uncle to Molly. He is a customer coming to check out Molly in the hospital and has to play the role of "uncle" in front of the hospital staff. 1 scene

[COOK] 40'S. The cook at the local Irish Pub. 1 line

[NURSE] 20's-30's. This nurse announces that Veronica has a phone call. 1 line
